Meet Nigel John Farmer

I came into this life already tuned to a frequency most people around me could not perceive. My younger siblings did not understand me. Elders did. That pattern never changed. It just took sixty-six years to understand what it meant.

Born in the United Kingdom, my path has taken me across four continents, through a motorcycle accident at seventeen, titanium discs in my neck at fifty, a bi-location witnessed by my own mother twelve thousand kilometres away, a summer researching and videographing crop circle formations across Somerset and Wiltshire as part of a project funded by the science advisor to CBS. A private Ayahuasca ceremony that brought me peace I had not found anywhere else, weekly meetings in Vancouver with Eckhart Tolle at his apartment in 1996 where I taught him word processing on an old Apple Macintosh I gave him, allowing him to produce the first digital manuscript of The Power of Now, and the conversations we wove together with our shared spiritual beliefs. A early Sunday morning in nineteen ninety-two when a luminous orange sphere appeared in my bedroom, orbited my head three times, and removed thirteen minutes from the record of my life that I have never fully recovered.

I am a writer, a former known music journalist/eic, a conscious tech pioneer, and the creator of the Meditating Astronaut ecosystem of writing and music. I am a classic INFJ: someone who has spent a lifetime seeing a great deal of unusually things, and saying very little. That silence is ending now.

At sixty-six I am starting to understand and appreciate what those thirteen minutes were for. They were not taken from me. They were deposited into me. Everything I have built since, the Interconnected Universe Theory, the first novella The Binary Cage, my storytelling through music I release through Meditating Astronaut Music, and the stories still arriving, was always part of the same project. The harvest of a thirty-four year agreement I did not know I had made.

I am the message. The work is the proof. And what comes next arrives here first.
